Or will we write all programs this way? I suppose for small data sets this wouldn’t work, or where there are no probabilities, like UIs. A user either clicks yes or no, buy or cancel. The interpretation of a billion transactions may be probablistic(?), but the UI has to do exactly what the user wants, not what the computer thinks they want. So good news for us old fuddy-duddy programmers.

Man hasn’t changed, and anything we accomplish ends up in evil hands eventually. I think of the Schwarzenegger film “Running Man” (I believe it was), where the evening news carried a video of a shootout which completely reversed the roles of the bad guys and the good guy. We’re not far from that, considering both the level of technology and the moral caliber of many in authority.
