It's because of how nicely Bootcamp drivers optimize Windows for Macs. There are specific Bootcamp drivers for one's specific model of Mac, and extra things like ACTUAL volume buttons and eject keys are integrated right in. Heck, even a 2006 MacBook with a Core Duo processor will run the latest version of Windows fine. Other computers don't have this much attention to detail when it comes to their drivers. On many other machines, Windows doesn't utilize the hardware well, whether it's good or bad hardware.

It's true; you can even run Windows well on a 2006 Core Duo MacBook. Bootcamp drivers optimize Mac hardware very well for Windows.

Barrett Cowan BSOD is not even in the OS anymore. Hasn't been in there for many versions. So no it is no inevitable because it cannot happen. It is no longer in the code.

ASUS true to their motto .. Rocksolid … I bought one, back when they first came out in 2007, while I was deployed in Iraq. It survived my tour overseas, and is still running strong to this day!! I'll buy ASUS over ANY other brand ANY day.
