Wait was this supposed to be ironic? There’s literally zero reason to own a smart watch right now because theres literally zero of these functions that can’t already be performed on the $600 smartphone that you just sacrificed to the memory of a conceded misogynist. We’re not living Mass Effect yet, maybe step back, take a deep breath, and pull your tongue out of Apple’s anus.

In reply to Anonymous. jospoortvliet Very well said. I too did not like apple watch much in the beginning . And whatever it has to offer are already there in Moto360 and pebble and fitness armband. But yes all these things are now under one umbrella and that is Apple Watch. You see this is how they sell themselves.

I think you turned a few things around.
1. If you are not looking for a well designed smartwatch…
You can buy a Apple Watch. Its massive, rectangular form and ugly crown can’t be hidden by the shiny advertising. Buy a Moto 360 if you want a pretty watch.
2. If you are not interested in cool features
Buy a Pebble. Actually, they have cool features like a always-on screen. How can anybody think about selling a watch that is off when you look at it? Unfortunately, not a single watch on the market has anything really uniquely useful. Even though many have some things others don’t, it is often not very special (like Apple Pay), a mere gimmick (Apple Touch) or not very usable (like Apple’s crown).
3. If you are not interested in Long battery life
Buy an Apple Watch. Aiming for 24 hours battery life is a pitiful low standard – trow in a decent trans-atlantic flight and you have a non-functioning watch on your arm. If you want your devices a little more reliable, look for a manufacturer with more ambitions.
4. You will never want to use awesome apps on your smartwatch
Buy an Apple watch. They are late to the market and unlikely to get most of the cool apps that are being written for Android.
5. You don’t want a smarter way to look at fitness
You can buy any watch. The many fitness armbands do better while being lighter and simply more suited to the task.
