well said akhil. she is trying to reach out to a wider fan-base and she doesn’t sound like country music anymore. the country-pop crossover has become pop now. i hope the album does good, i’ve listened couple of sounds and i liked them. even though she’s ditching her style, i’d like to mention something here. she hasn’t reached out for any hip-hop collaborations and she is doing it on her own. no other current pop star is doing that. she is doing it all the 80s and 90s way, i appreciate that. i hope that album does well and we get to hear some more country tunes from her.
