I am sure the main reason that Edge is more efficient on battery is processor throttling which we must assume means a decrease in overall performance. using less battery always equals slower performance. Go ahead and load a page with lots of javascript in edge vs loading it in chrome or firefox and let’s see which loads faster (or displays correctly)
