This wouldn’t make sense at all. Why would that help Google in any way?

They would swap one litigious, control freak (Oracle) for another (Apple). Swift as a platform is probably years away from becoming the equal to Java, especially that now Android uses OpenJDK.

BTW OpenJDK is also open source so Swift has no advantage whatsoever.

So it means that it is a marketing compaign for your “Exclusive iOS 9 Swift Coding Course” huh!?
It is not as easy as you’ve imagined its matter of years if Google decided to switch from Java to Switft and from my point of view there are no logical reasons for this transmission so it looks like it is a nonsense.
