Yes. They will just pull out of France before handing it over.

The French citizens who still want to use google services will still be able to, they would just have to use a VPN service.

Good one! xD but it's apparent they don't. Otherwise, they wouldn't be doing so much fuss about nothing :-P

These examples are not about "food" and "health"; they're about "trade secret" and "intellectual property"… exactly the ground Google must defend.

Create an invention that hasn't been created yet. Step 2. Make it a absolute success, a super power that the whole world knows about and cant get enough of. Step 3. Spend your entire life improving and making it the best you can make it. Step 4. Hire as many people and enrich as many lives as google has. Step 5. Take everything this invention is and all its most complex secrets and information on how it all works …and simply give it away to the world. I think only once you've gone through those steps will you have the right to ask something like that of google or any one for that matter . Until then just sit in your tax payed overly priced chair and shut the fuck up. Because the fact that you chose to govern without earning the right to do so and not create anything or improve the world in any way already says enough about the lazy fuckbags you are.

If they want to favor their own sites, then that's their prerogative. Last I read, it said "Google" on Google's website, not "FTC" or any other company or organization…
