@Securiace Technologies so if I format my computer all is erased?.. i heard even after a format our old files are stored aside inside our computer.

I've been using prey for almost a year now. It works well on android as far as I tested it.
It has several usefull features:

-Set the app to hidden: When active this will make the app icon disapear from the app drawer.
-Set the app to block: Looks the device with a custom password. It can also display a custom message.
-Set the app to alarm: Rings an alarm on the device.
-Last location: Prey connects to the device and tries to use wifi, gps and allegedly 3g to establish a more or less precise location.

Additionaly you can set the device to stolen wich allows it to take photos and register the location every a predefined amount of minutes, and send them to the webapp as a report.

Free account has some limitations, a maximun of 3 devices and 10 reports.

On android I have not perceived any change in functionality or performance after installing this app.
